The Soup Club Cookbook: Feed Your Friends, Feed Your Family, Feed Yourself

I’m loving this book so far. My husband and I are soup junkies. We make a big pot at least 3 times a week. It’s awesome to have some new recipes to play with.

My favorites so far:

  • Faux Ramen
  • Potato Cheddar Soup
  • Sun Dried Tomato Soup
  •  Summer Corn Hash
  •  Cheddar Cornbread

The nice thing about soup is that it’s so easy to play with the ingredients. A few of these recipes have expensive or hard to find ingredients. It’s so easy to just leave these out or substitute with something else. For instance, we don’t do coconut in our house, so I left it out of the Carrot, Coconut and Chicken Chili. It was just as good.

The book itself is lovely. The pictures and format are beautiful. I love cookbooks that are pretty, it makes you so much more willing to try out the recipes if you can see beautiful pictures in them first. I recommend this one for any family. There are lot of appealing family receipes like the Potato Cheddar Soup and Cheddar Cornbread!
